What the hell is a sestina? A Latin pop star who tragically died young and later, even more tragically, was played by Jennifer Lopez in a biopic? No. A sestina is a fixed verse form of writing and poet Daniel Nester has edited together more than 100 of them to create a book called The Incredible Sestina Anthology. And now he’s taking the show on the road and bringing it to the Middlesex Lounge in Cambridge.

Along with Nester other authors reading at the event include, Meg Kearney, Michael Costello, Stephen Burt, Ravi Shankar, Jade Sylvan, Ethan Paquin, and others TBA.

This show is going on a long trek, NYC ,Chicago and Seatlle are next, so don’t miss your chance to have some talented wordsmiths rearrange your mind in a live setting while they’re here in town.
